Alan Schulman, M.D., has been a respected member of the Montgomery County medical community for more than 30 years. He has held numerous leadership positions at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, including, chairman of the Gastroenterology division, chairman of the Department of Medicine and president of the Medical Staff. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, he holds a place as a featured resident in the acclaimed medical novel, "The House of God."
Dr. Schulman has consistently been recognized by his peers as a "Top Doctor" in Washingtonian magazine, including the most recent issue in 2010.
