GIEA was developed by 8 respected and established gastroenterologists in the Rockville, Maryland, area for the purpose of performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures in an out-patient setting. GIEA is a sensible alternative to hospitalization when your doctor orders an out-patient endoscopy procedure. Our modern facility offers state-of-the-art care and equipment in a warm and friendly environment. Many patients prefer GIEA to out-patient hospitalization. From admission to discharge, our administrative system is geared to suit the time constraints and busy life-styles of our patients. GIEA is a concept whose time has come.
